കാഞ്ഞങ്ങാട്: കാസർഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ അമ്പലത്തറ പറക്കളായിയിൽ ഒരേ കുടുംബത്തിലെ മൂന്ന് പേർ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തു.മറ്റൊരാൾ ഗുരുതരാവസ്ഥയിൽ ചികിത്സയിലാണ്.

ആത്മഹത്യക്ക് ശ്രമിച്ചത് ഗോപി (58), ഭാര്യ ഇന്ദിര (55), മകൻ രജേഷ് (37), രാകേഷ് (35) എന്നിവരാണ്. ഇവരിൽ ഗോപി, ഇന്ദിര, രജേഷ് എന്നിവർ മരിച്ചു. രാകേഷ് ഗുരുതരാവസ്ഥയിൽ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ചികിത്സയിലാണ്.

ആസിഡ് കുടിച്ചാണ് ആത്മഹത്യശ്രമം നടത്തിയതെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക നിഗമനം. പുലർച്ചെ ഗോപി അയൽക്കാരനെ വിളിച്ച് സംഭവവിവരം അറിയിച്ചതോടെയാണ് സംഭവം പുറത്തറിഞ്ഞത്. ഉടൻ പൊലീസ് ഇടപെട്ട് നാലുപേരെയും ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും മൂന്ന് പേരുടെ ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.
